Wireless On The Xbox 360 Without An Adapter.

Alright, I'm not sure if anyone owns an Xbox 360, or uses one at this forum. However, the other day, while playing video games on my 360, I came across some valuable information. If you have ever been looking to go wireless with an Xbox 360 this may help you out. You may have realized the very high cost of wirelss 360 use.

The adaptor for wireless is $80+ and of course you will need a wireles router (about $30), aswell. However, while I was playing Gears of War, a popular game on the 360, I was told if you already had a laptop (with a wireless adaptor), you would not need to purchase an Official Xbox 360 Wireless Adaptor. Instead, he claimed, he used his Laptop to output, or rather, split, the wireless signal to the Xbox 360.

To do this you must have a laptop recieving wireless internet, and an ethernet cable. Plug the ethernet cable from the laptops port to the Xbox 360's so they are connected, sharing a connection. Now all you have to do is go to (on your laptop, if it is wondows, I'm not sure about Macs) Control Panel -> Network and Internet Connections -> Network Connections find your wireless connection, right click it, and click "Bridge Connections".

I was surprised this was so easy, I ran wires all the way from the second floor of my house to the basement so I could get onto Xbox Live, but I would never have if I knew I could use this much easier method instead. However, I'm guessing my wired connection is probably more clear than a wireless connection would have been since my wireless router has a weak signal. I hope this tutorial helps some people out, Good Day.

WHOSE word do we take for it? Quinn said they cuddled and smooched a bit, but on the other hand, Mozambique's Jennifer Mussanhane said nothing happened other than the fact that they got pretty close during her last days in the house.

Meanwhile, the reason why Jen voluntarily left Biggie's house on Sunday still remains a mystery. When The Namibian spoke to her late on Monday, she politely declined to divulge any details, saying "it is confidential".

The departure of the sexy, feisty and intelligent Jen was a sad moment for fans and housemates alike.

That call that you received from home, what was the bad news that you received and who does the bad news involve?

That is confidential. I cannot say anything about it at this moment.

How did you feel when you received the news?

I was quite broken.

Was the decision to leave the house yours or that of your family?

It was my own decision.

How do you feel to have left the house voluntarily instead of being evicted?

Honestly, before you make such a decision, you prepare yourself and as much as I can be hard on myself, it had to be done. But I'm glad I made that decision and instead I am looking forward and not backwards.

No (laughs), we did not smooch. Quinn and I got pretty close during my last three days in the house, but that's it.

It was adventurous because they are just crazy. Those Namibian boys are crazy (in a good way of course). At times the house can be so stressful and they would come up with something crazy that would make everybody laugh, even if you didn't want to laugh. So, congratulations on your boys, Namibia.

What was your best moment in the house?

When we had the 'Thriller' task [housemates had to come up with an enactment of the legendary Michael Jackson video].

Who do you think will go next?
This is quite a difficult question, but I would say Hannington, because of his temper.

I hope it will be Kevin. He is charismatic and it would make me very happy to see him walk out of the house as the winner.

So, what is the way forward for you?

At the moment I am unemployed, however I studied politics and will look for a career in political affairs back home.

Vinnie Jones is the next victim of the Tree of Temptation

Vinnie Jones has become the latest victim of the Tree of Temptation when he was given a secret challenge this morning. The Tree told Vinnie to reveal to the other housemates that he had bonded with them, humiliate himself by admitting to cross dressing and finally to cry in front of the others, but did Vinnie accept?

“I’m not doing it,” Vinnie replied bluntly.

But the Tree wasn’t taking no for answer, saying it would be good for Vinnie to show off his softer side, adding “You might even get a part in a rom-com!”

After walking away to spend some time in the bedroom, Vinnie returned to the Tree this afternoon to take part in the challenge, saying he wanted to “protect” his fellow housemates from the wrath of the Tree of Temptation.

Vinnie’s Tree Challenge is to take Alex aside and tell him that he once secretly cross-dressed, and that he loved it.

He must then also give a heartfelt performance in front of his housemates and become emotional, telling them how this experience has changed him as a person, and how he has made better friends with the people in the house than he has on the outside world, according to the Channel4 website.

If he passes by crying, Vinnie will be allowed to watch a football match.

Davina to enter the Big Brother house tonight

Big Brother host Davina McCall will enter the house tonight, according to tabloid reports. McCall will dress up in the animal costume that the first evictee will be wearing when they find out their time is up, she’ll then enter the house as the second evictee is announced.

The show host will stay in the house for several hours, however will not sleep over or reveal her identity, according to The Sun.

Tonight the celebrities, unaware of the impending double eviction, will dress up in animal costumes for a task. Davina will then talk to the house to reveal the first evictee who will have to leave in their costume!

Davina is then expected to go in wearing the evicted star’s animal disguise, according to the paper.

A source said: “This is a perfect way of giving Davina a taste of house life.”

Housemates given 'Chat in a Hat' task

With a surprise double eviction looming tonight, Big Brother lulled the housemates into a false sense of security yesterday by giving him a group bonding task. Housemates were provided with a chat containing various discussion topics about their time in the house. Such topics included their best moment, biggest fears and the housemate who surprised them the most.

The group were instructed to each take a topic from the hat and read it aloud before giving their answer.

The first topic was best moment in the house and Jonas went first, “When I made Sisqo and Katia believe there were polar bears walking around the streets in Sweden, and if you fly north they give you polar bear sticks to fend them off,” he told the group.

Alex said his best moment was “kicking the **** out of Snarny”, Jonas’ snowman in the garden.

“It looked like it was going to be a draw at one stage,” said Vinnie to laughs from the others.

The next topic was “The housemate who surprised me the most”.

Dane said Alex, explaining “I think everyone here can say you’re a gentlemen and that they like you as a person. Hopefully that’s come across [to the public].”

Next it was “Greatest fear coming into the house”.

Stephanie said her biggest fear was becoming a “lady muck” and refusing to take part in tasks, “I feared that side of me might come out,” she told the group, “But I’m happy, I don’t know where she is.”

Nicola was next: “My greatest fear was that I would come in and no one would like be and think I’m annoying and stupid. I think the people have gone may have thought that but now people can laugh with me and not at me.”

The final topic for the housemates was to discuss the housemate they would consider a friend of life. Vinnie finished off the evening, saying “I think me and Ivana will travel to many shores and I’d like to think that I will stay in touch with all of you.”

How heart warming. Tonight, however, two of the housemates will find out they haven’t made it to the final in a surprise double eviction, find out who goes from 9PM on Channel4!

Group given Lionel Ritchie sculpture task

Big Brother would like to find out which housemate is most in touch with their senses and so has set the group a Lionel Ritchie sculpture task. The housemates have 15 minutes to familiarise themselves with pictures of Lionel Ritchie before being given an hour to sculpt the singer in clay, blindfolded, from memory!

“Lionel Ritchie will judge the finished sculptures with the best one winning a prize,” Dane read out from the task instructions.

The housemates then sat in front of their pieces of clay as Lionel Ritchie’s Hello video was played into the house for inspiration, however it left a few housemates – particular Nicola – with teary eyes.

After 15 minutes of preparation, Big Brother instructed the celebrities to put on their blindfolds and to begin sculpting.

Stephanie reveals she is hurt by 'bitchiest housemate' award

Speaking to Ivana this morning, Stephanie revealed she was hurt when she was awarded the title of Bitchiest Housemate at last night’s award party. Ivana also had problems with the awards, saying Nicola should’ve been voted the least famous and it was unfair on Jonas to receive that award.

“I was very hurt that I was the bitchiest because it’s a title I’ve had for many years and its not true,” Stephanie told Ivana. “I may be lots of things but I’m not a bitch.”

Ivana however was more interesting in the Least Famous Housemate award, saying “Least famous should have gone to Nicola, she’s page 3 something… come on. Jonas guy performs and has his name in the charts…”

“I’ve never heard of him,” Stephanie interrupted.

“Neither have I,” admitted Ivana, “But he’s touring over the world, Europe, Russia, Dubai. What does Nicola do? She poses a few times on page 3. She’s a nice girl and stuff but she’s a celebrity because of that?” Ouch.

“She’s a strange celebrity,” Stephanie added.

“Least famous was Nicky definitely,” Ivana repeated. “I think it was very hard on Jonas.”

“It’s just how it is,” concluded Stephanie.

Housemates pass 'fake award' secret task

Yesterday, Big Brother gave the housemates a secret task: they all had to work together to convince Ivana she had won a real award from the ‘Kugel Fresh’ magazine. As Ivana didn’t figure out the award was fake, the group passed and were rewarded with a party, however in true Big Brother style there was one last twist…

On finding out her award, for Best International Businesswoman on a Reality TV Show, was a fake, Ivana simply chuckled to herself as the other housemates cheered at passing.

Nicola apologised profusely to Ivana for lying, only to be told by Alex to stop because they had passed and should be happy.

For passing, the group were rewarded with a party in the task room where they were treated to canapés, champagne, strawberries and a chocolate fountain.

However there was one last twist in store, in the task room the housemates found an awards board and red silk sashes. One by one the housemates had to approach the board, reveal one of the categories and choose a housemate to present the award to.

Dane nominated Jonas as the least famous housemate, Nicola won most attractive housemate and Vinnie won most famous housemate.

Other categories included bitchiest housemate, least intelligent and housemate most likely to win.
